With their debut album, The Howl & The Hum want one thing above all – that people can experience their music. Therefore «Human Contact» will be released as planned on May 29th, 2020 despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. O.C. California – Die Inspirationsquelle einer neuen Indie-Generation
Die Fernsehserie «O.C. California» war eine wichtige Inspirationsquelle für Teenager und eine grosse Chance für Indie-Bands wie The Subways. Mit ihrem Debütalbum «Young For Eternity» konnten sie bereits 2005 in der dritten Staffel der Show live auf der Bühne des legendären Bait Shop auftreten. Dieser Moment prägt die Band noch immer – auch fünfzehn Jahre später. Charlotte Cooper, Bassistin von The Subways, erinnert sich an die einzigartigen Momente, die sie am Set erlebten.
The O.C. – a source of inspiration for a new indie generation
The tv series „The O.C.“ was an important source of inspiration for music loving teenagers and a huge opportunity for young indie bands like The Subways. With their debut record «Young For Eternity» they were able to appear live on stage of the legendary Bait Shop in the third season of the show back in 2005. That moment still has an impact on the band – even fifteen years later. Charlotte Cooper, bass player of The Subways, remembers the unique moments of being on set.
